HDMI...High-Definition Multimedia Interface
is a audio/video interface for transmitting
uncompressed video data and compressed or
uncompressed digital audio data from an HDMI
compliant source device, such as a display
controller, to a compatible computer monitor,
video projector, digital television, or digital
audio device.
LCD...Liquid-Crystal Display is a flat-panel
display or other electronically modulated
optical device that uses the light-modulating
properties of liquid crystals combined with
polarizers. Liquid crystals do not emit light
directly, instead using a backlight or reflector
to produce images in color or monochrome.
COMPOSITE...A video signal that includes
both display information and the synchronization
(and other) signals needed to display it.
RGB...Abbreviation for red-green-blue, a method
of displaying color video by transmitting the three
primary colors as three separate signals.
