Head control circuits must be isolated from the melt unit power when using Astro Packaging DC Head Drivers or damage will result to the timing device. These wiring configurations are illustrated in the electrical schematic that ships with the melt units.

Should char buildup occur, or if the hot melt formulation is changed, the system should be purged with a flushing agent such as Astro Packaging "Strip-N-Clean".
