    DRIVING TECHNIQUE Starting the engine Make sure there is enough fuel and oil in the vehicle before starting the engine. Starting the engine with an electric starter ● Turn the key to position and check that the low beam and turn signals are working.
  • Page 22 Starting the engine with a foot starter Place your foot on the foot starter and press down dynamically. Take your foot off the pedal after starting the engine.
  • Page 23 Starting to drive ● After starting the engine while it is still idling (loose), do not rapidly add gas to avoid overloading the engine. ● When going up a larger hill or with a load on the vehicle, the engine needs more power, so shift to a lower gear before the bike loses power.
