The interface of the door controller configures the parameters, diagnoses and tests the TST LGB. On basis of position data returned by a position detector mounted onto the door’s shaft, the TST LGB can determine the position of the door`s edge.

4.2 Safety instructions for installation ATTENTION To utilize the unit as exclusive safety device for the door (protection level E) the TST LGB must be installed at the center of the door frame. The lower end of the TST LGB must be installed at floor level.

5.3 Connecting the RLGxA wiring board to the controller The TST RLGxA wiring board is a connection distributor which facilitates the connection of the TST LGB light curtain with the door controller. For this purpose, the red terminal block of the wiring board is plugged onto the red pin strip of the controller board (connection for the position encoder).

6.1 Setup assistant The setup assistant checks the correct alignment of the TST LGB units to each. The Set-up assistant starts after reaching or storing the upper end position. From here, error messages of the light curtain may prevent further commissioning of the door. In the event of an error, these must be elimi- nated before continuing.
Several light beams occupied. In the case of improvement of the Light beam alignment between the TST LGB units the signal quality rises. With good quality, the fault F 601 acknowledges itself automatically and the start up procedure may be con- tinued.

Internal error, testing not successful 10 Maintenance The aperture for the entry and exit of the beams of the TST LGB transmitter and receiver must be cleaned once per door maintenance interval. Scratching by coarse agents or dissolving due to cleaning agents containing solvents must be avoided at all cost.
