Congratulations on your purchase of this top-of-the-line cooking appliance manufac-
tured in France. You have selected an appliance that combines the best technical fea-
tures with great user-friendliness. We hope that you derive the maximum possible sat-
isfaction.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow these instructions carefully to avoid the risk
of fire, electric shock, burns or other injuries and damage.
When using this unit, safety precautions should always be
observed such as:
- Never leave the appliance running unattended.
- Always keep the operation instruction with the appli-
ance.
- Always install the appliance in accordance with the in-
structions. A minimum distance of 10 cm from the wall
or partition is required.
- This appliance is meant for outdoor use.
- Protect the appliance from direct sunlight, frost and
moisture.
- Do not leave the appliance within the reach of children
or infirm persons without supervision.
- Ensure that only trained personnel use the appliance.
- Never move the appliance while it is in operation or
when the cooking fire is still hot.
- Check that the appliance is definitely off before con-
necting or disconnecting it.
- Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
The temperature of the hot surfaces can be very high
when the appliance is switched on. Always use the con-
trol knobs.

- Do not use the unit for other functions than the intended
use.
- Do not let the power cord hang from the side of the trol-
ley or any counter top, or let it come in contact with hot
surfaces.
- The appliance must not be used near combustible mate-
rials.
- During use, make sure not to obstruct the air vents of
the appliance.
- To avoid any electric shock, never plunge the appliance,
the cord or plug in water or quite other liquid.
- If the cord is harmed, it must be replaced by the produc-
er, his after sale service or persons of similar skills to
avoid any risk.
- Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified per-
son.
- Use only spare parts of origin.
- At the end of cooking, in order to clean the appliance,
do not forget to disconnect it.

3. CONFORMITY OF USE
Use the device only to cook and grill meat, bacon, hamburgers, sausages, fish, shell-
fish, vegetables, onions..., and also for fried eggs or omelettes...
4. USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
This plancha is fitted with stainless steel plate (4 mm). By its smooth surface, the plate
provides direct heat transfer to the food being cooked, homogeneous spread of the
heat on all the cooking surface thanks to incoloy heating elements covering the

entire cooking surface.
