6. Life Phases

6.1 Transport and storage

Any transportation or storage damage must be reported immediately to the person responsible
and to RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
The product is to be checked by suitable personnel for visible and functional damage.
It is forbidden to put damaged remote hand switches into operation.
The following environmental conditions have been specified for storing the remote hand switch:
contact with solvent-based paints must be avoided
Lowest / highest ambient temperature: -20 °C/+60 °C
Relative humidity in storage: falling below the dew point is not permitted
Divergent environmental factors must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.

6.2 Assembly

6.2.1 Routing of electrical leads
When routing electrical leads, ensure that
these cannot become trapped,
no mechanical load is exerted on them,
they cannot become damaged in any other way, and
obstacles do not pose any risks to persons.
6.2.2 Installing the FLASH RF receiver
Install the FLASH RF receiver using 2 screws (e.g. pan head tapping screw, ISO 7049;
3.9 x 19) with suitable length.
The screw depth must be at least 10 mm
or
Attach the RF receiver to the application using a suitable adhesive strip.
Make sure that the RF receiver rests flat on the application.
6.2.3 Connecting the FLASH RF receiver
The FLASH RF receiver is connected to a suitable controller or drive.
Plug the connector of the FLASH RF receiver to the parallel hand switch socket of the control-
ler or drive.
