Intended Use
This product is suitable for installation in damp environments (indoors/outdoors) and can be
wall mounted. It has an ingress protection rating of IP65 and emits a warm white 3000K light.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks or other hazards. Read
the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

Explanation of Symbols

The light is not dimmable.
All metal parts that could carry a voltage in the event of a fault during operation or
maintenance must be connected to the protective earth conductor.
The lamp should not be installed onto normally flammable surfaces.

Safety Instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.
a) General Information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts,
flammable gases, steam and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be completed by a technician
or an authorised repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.

b) LED light
• Warning, LED light:
- Do not look directly at the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The LED light bulbs are firmly embedded and cannot be replaced.
c) Installation
• Installation of the product must be carried out by a qualified professional (i.e. an
electrician) who is familiar with all applicable regulations!
• Improper handling of mains voltage will endanger yourself and others!
• Do not hang or secure any objects (e.g. decorations) to the light.
• The fixture should not be installed onto normally flammable surfaces.
• Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
when using the product in industrial facilities.
• Only use a suitable, fixed mains cable for power supply.
• A suitable switch is required for turning the product on and off.
• When drilling or tightening screws, make sure there are no cables, wires or pipes
located underneath the surface. Inadvertently drilling through electric cables can
cause life-threatening danger of an electric shock!
• The light must be protected with a 10/16A fuse at the sub-distribution. An earth
leakage circuit breaker must be installed before this.
• Isolate all poles of the mains cable from the mains supply by removing the electric
circuit fuse or switching off the automatic fuse. Then turn off the earth leakage
circuit breaker.
• The choice of an unsuitable installation location can lead to personal injury or
material damage!
• The surface for installation should be dry, clean, flat, stable and free from debris.
d) Location
• The product has an IP65 rating and can be mounted and operated both indoors
and outdoors. It is protected from dust ingress, and low pressure water jets from
any direction.
• Do not position the device near or above high temperature sources. For example,
hot ventilation ducts, air conditioning units, stoves etc.
• Risk of electric shock. Do not install near a pool, spa or water fountain.
• Position the panel where it will not be affected by falling objects or animals.
• Wall-mounting is permissible only where the wall concerned is of the correct type
and condition. Lightweight partition walls or those made from gypsum boards are
normally unsuitable.
• The product is suitable for use in unprotected areas. It must however not be used
in or under water. This poses a risk of fatal electric shock!
• Do not mount the product to or inside vehicles.
• When mounting the product, take into consideration the routing of the mains cable.
• This product is not explosion-proof. Never use the product in rooms which contain
or may contain flammable gases, vapors or combustible dusts! There is a risk of
explosion!
