The use and maintenance manual, supplied with the fan together with papers and certificates of the components and units assembled on it, describes all the necessary details for a correct and safe use of the fan.

It is indispensable to ensure that the rotor of Moro S.r.l. fans does not remain stationary for long periods of time, either during storage or during construction of the equipment in which the fan will be installed. During said periods you must periodically check the fan, turning it by hand to prevent bearing damages and in particular the oxidation of the bearing races.

  • Page 33 L’utilizzatore deve collegare elettricamente a terra sia il ventilatore sia il motore elettrico: una corretta messa a terra del motore e della macchina comandata evita tensioni e correnti parassite nei cuscinetti. I motori che vengono comandati tramite variatore elettrico di frequenza (inverter) devono essere equipaggiati con termistori di protezione PTC contro le sovratemperature del motore.

  • Page 47 In casi particolari in cui si utilizzino cuscinetti a tenuta stagna è ovvio che non occorre lubrificarli. Il grasso utilizzato solitamente dalla Moro S.r.l. in supporti di funzionamento standard è del tipo SKF LgEP 2. Per funzionamento diverso da quello standard è possibile leggere il tipo di grasso utilizzato nel caso specifico sull’etichetta posta a fianco al monoblocco o nella tabella precedente.

    Pour un calcul approximatif, il est recommandé de tenir compte d’une température moyenne de la graisse de 85°C. Les ventilateurs Moro S.r.l. sont dimensionnés de façon à garantir une durée du roulement de 20.000 heures de fonctionnement continu. Cette garantie n’est cependant valable que pour les transmissions calculées et mises en place dans nos usines.

  • Page 50 Se forem usados lubrificadores de alta pressão, devem ser devidamente limpos após o uso. Moro S.r.l. usa nos mancais somente massa lubrificante SKF, o compatíveis, dos tipos indicados acima e recomenda também aos utilizadores finais que usem os mesmos produtos. Em caso da falta de informação adicional nos pontos da lubrificação, a tabela indicada aqui tem que ser seguida.

  • Page 58 ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY OF THE TRANSMISSION JOINT The joints usually employed by Moro S.r.l. are Periflex joints for shaft/shaft coupling or star elastic joints. The joint is searched according to the power and number of revolutions of working motor. The joint should be assembled only after having established the fan driving gear.
