    RÉGLAGES Réglage de la tête de coupe La tête de coupe peut être réglée à différents angles, afin de faciliter la coupe sous diverses conditions. MISE EN GARDE : N’essayez pas de régler la tête de coupe pendant que la lame est en mouvement.
  • Page 8 FONCTIONNEMENT ATTENTION : Ne chargez pas la pile si la température de l'air ambiant ou de la pile est inférieure à 0°C (32ºF) ou supérieure à 45°C (113ºF). Après une utilisation prolongée de l'outil ou à des températures élevées, la pile peut devenir chaude.

    FONCTIONNEMENT La lame à double tranchant permet une coupe par un mouvement latéral ou vertical. Avant de commencer la coupe, vérifiez qu'il n'y a pas d'objets (par exemple du grillage) dans la haie qui pourraient endommager ou coincer la scie à élaguer. Pendant la coupe, avancez lentement et progressivement le long de la ligne de coupe afin que les branches passent directement dans les lames.
  • Page 10 ENTRETIEN Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez l’état des tranchants de la lame et vérifiez que les fixations de la lame sont correctement installées. Vérifiez que le protège-lame est installé lorsque l'outil n'est pas utilisé. N’utilisez pas d'eau, de solvants ou de produits à polir pour nettoyer la scie à élaguer. Essuyez et séchez-la avec un chiffon sec.

    ADJUSTMENTS Extension tube adjustment The telescopic tube length on the trimmer can be extended to allow you to reach difficult places without the use of a ladder. WARNING! Do not attempt to adjust the telescopic tube while the blade is moving. Adjusting the handle length: Grip the trimmer firmly and release the latch on the lower handle.
  • Page 20 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Connect the supplied battery charging adaptor to the charging socket located on the rear of the handle. Plug the charger into a suitable electrical socket and switch on. The indicator light on the charger will light RED when the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged the indicator light will turn GREEN.
  • Page 21 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS The handle is designed with a safety button to prevent accidental starting. To start the trimmer: Press and hold the safety button located on either side of the handle, then press the trigger. Continue holding the trigger and release the safety button. The trimmer will be on for as long as the trigger is pressed.

    MAINTENANCE Wear protective gloves when handling the blade. To ensure long and reliable service, carry out the following maintenance regularly: Check for obvious defects such as loose, dislodged, worn or damaged blades, loose fixings, and worn, damaged, or loose parts. Check that covers and guards are correctly fitted and undamaged.
