INTRODUCTION Your Vertex, Vertex Toric, or Vertex Toric XR contact lenses are made from a plastic material, methafilcon A, which has the ability to absorb water, making it soft and pliable. When your eye care practitioner prescribes your lenses for daily wear they are to be removed, discarded and replaced with a new sterile one on a Frequent Planned Replacement schedule determined by your eye care practitioner.
