While the SA80 can detect levels of airborne particulates it cannot determine the health impact for any given individual. Automatic Background Calibration (ABC) is disabled. Theory of PM2.5 and PM10 Measurement: SA80 uses a laser scattering theory to obtain the number of particles in the equivalent particle size and volume units of different size through the algorithms based on MIE theory. -
