INTRODUCTION TO INDUCTION COOKING Your SALTER induction hob is made from smooth, easy to clean microcrystal glass. The heat for cooking comes from a magnetic induction coil which directly heats the base of the pan with great speed and efficiency. Using this system, temperature adjustments can be made very rapidly, giving you precise control over your cooking. - Page 5 USING THE PROGRAM FUNCTIONS Your SALTER induction hob has 6 built-in program functions, as described in the table below. These programs are designed to make the everyday cooking quicker and easier at the touch of a button. Select the required program by pressing the SYMBOL button until the LED lights up above the SYMBOL.

CHILD LOCK To activate the child lock, press and hold the CHILD LOCK button for 3 secs until the relevant LED light comes on. When child lock is activated the control buttons will not work, preventing any accidental operation. The exception is the power button which, for safety, can still be used to power off. -
