Installation and Setup Guide System Configuration Once a SimplBox is attached to a solar panel, it uses its mesh networked core to wake up and au- tomatically connect to the Simpl’s web-hosted database, SimplWeb. Simpl’s partners have access to SimplWeb via a carefully-designed API and can extract relevant data or develop a custom ap- plication for their customers.

SimplBox is designed to be installed under a solar panel. Before installing SimplBox, locate the cen- ter of each solar panel on the solar racking rail. The width of a SimplBox and microinverter comfort- ably positioned side by side should be centered within the panel footprint. Do not position SimplBox between solar panels as that may block the location of the solar panel mid-clamps or end-clamps.
