Intended Use
The product is designed to create an optical effect for e.g., in small party rooms. 24 LEDs in
various colours, light up on a slowly rotating mirror ball, so that there will be numerous small
colourful spots of light on the illuminated surfaces.
Operation is via the enclosed wall plug-in power adapter.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Moreo-
ver, the improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks, etc. Please read
the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to a third
party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.

Explanation of Symbols

Safety instructions

Please read the operating instructions carefully and pay particular attention
to the safety instructions. We do not assume liability for injuries/material da-
mages resulting from failure to observe the safety instructions and the infor-
mation in these operating instructions regarding the proper handling of the
product. Furthermore, in such cases, the warranty/guarantee will be null and
void.
a) General
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not allowed for
safety and approval reasons.
• Any maintenance or repair work may be performed only by an expert.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around, since it could be-
come a dangerous plaything for children.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the
industrial workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our
technical service or another specialist.
b) Power adapter/mains voltage
• The design of the plug-in power adapter complies with IEC Protection Class II
(double insulated electrical appliances). Use only a standard mains socket as the
power source for the power adapter.
• The power socket into which the power adapter is inserted must be easily ac-
cessible.
• Only use the power adapter provided to power the LED mirror ball.
• Do not pull the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
• Never touch a power adapter that shows signs of damage, as this could cause a
fatal electric shock!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket, to which the power adapter is
connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety
fuse or switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that all poles of
the mains socket are disconnected).
You can then unplug the power adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the
faulty power adapter in an environmentally friendly way, do not use it any more.
Replace it with a power adapter of the same design.
c) Operation
• The product is not a toy. Devices operated on mains voltage should not be used by
children. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
• The product is intended for use in dry indoor rooms only; it must not get damp or
wet; never touch it with damp wet hands! Power adapters pose the potential risk
of a fatal electric shock!
• The product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, in-
tense vibrations or heavy mechanical stress. Protect it against dust and dirt.
• Never use the product immediately after moving it from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation that forms might destroy the product. A power adapter also
carries the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock!
• Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it into use. In some cases, this may take several hours.
• Avoid the following adverse conditions at the location of installation and during
transport:
- Dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations, impacts or blows
- Strong magnetic fields such as those found close to machinery or loudspeakers
• Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer works
- the device was stored for a long period of time in unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• When installing and connecting the product, ensure that the cable of the plug-in
power adapter is not kinked or squashed and that no one trip over it.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows or falls even
from a low height.
• Disconnect the power supply from the power socket if the product will not be used
for a while (e.g., storage).
Installation, Connection, and Operation
• Place the LED mirror ball on a flat, stable surface. Protect valuable furniture surfaces by
using a suitable mat to prevent scratches or pressure points.
To obtain an optimal lighting effect, the LED mirror ball should not be installed directly next
to a wall.
Additionally, keep a sufficient distance from heat sources (for e.g., heaters).
• Connect the LED mirror ball with the circular low-voltage plug of the plug-in power adapter
provided. Finally plug the mains adapter into a proper mains socket.
Place the cables in such a way that nobody can trip over them.
• With the switch on the front side, the LED mirror ball can be switched on or off (switch position
„I" = on, switch position „0" = off).
• When the LED mirror ball is switched on, the 24 LEDs light up and the motor drive starts. With
the coloured LEDs and the many mirror surfaces, there are numerous small, colourful and
moving spots of light on the illuminated surfaces.
The direction of rotation of the motor cannot be changed manually. Whether the
rotate to the left or the right after switching on depends on the positive or negative
half-wave of the mains voltage at the time of switching on.
Care and Cleaning
Disconnect the product from the mains voltage before cleaning, switch it off, and pull the power
adapter from the mains socket.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
