    4.1 Installation environment This is a stationary device to be installed indoors. Below we have detailed the areas where it is recommended to install the AMPERE Tower PRO in the home: ▪ Avoid direct sunlight: high temperatures reduce the performance and life of the battery, so it is recommended to install the system somewhere away from direct sunlight.

Installation of this product requires a solid wall that is capable of preventing the purchased system from overturning. The point load that has to be supported by the wall is 30 kg, with a minimum distance of 40 cm between points.

    It is extremely important that these connections are made properly. You must take into account the polarity of the photovoltaic plant’s connections and connect them accordingly to the AMPERE Tower PRO. Prior to connection, the photovoltaic installation must be properly connected, with the positive and negative cables routed to the unit.

The battery is placed horizontally on the brackets, with the handles on its left. The connection is made between the electronics module and the battery and between both batteries (Master and Slave).

    AMPERE TOWER PRO S / TOWER PRO M IM_TW_PRO_S_M_v001_EN 5.8.2 Wiring of the battery modules. The electronics module is composed of a bidirectional hybrid inverter and an EMS. This module is already installed on the wall mounting, with the cables that connect to the batteries coming out of it.

    The energy meter is installed on the main switchboard, so it measures all energy consumed and generated in the installation, as indicated in the above diagrams. In the AMPERE Tower PRO system, the connection is made at the bottom of the device using an RJ45 bushing connector.

This connection is necessary to: • Optimise the system’s performance: access to weather forecasts and variable energy prices.

    7. SHUTTING DOWN THE SYSTEM It is advisable to keep the AMPERE Tower PRO connected to the mains and the PV installation in order to maintain the battery charge in an optimal state, even when the system’s user is not present.
  • Page 53 AMPERE TOWER PRO S / TOWER PRO M IM_TW_PRO_S_M_v001_EN 5. Disconnect the battery circuit breaker by lowering the switch. The switch has 3 positions: ON, OFF and TRIP. The thermal magnetic circuit breaker may trip as a safety measure (intermediate TRIP position).

    Router and to the female connector of the AMPERE Tower PRO. The USB flash drive provided by AMPERE (or another similar in type) will have to be used to configure the system. You should turn on the computer and plug the USB flash drive provided by AMPERE into one of the USB ports.
