Releasing the rivet nut / bolt from the
threaded mandrel [fig. IV]

Press the rocker switch [3] down
▸
Press the levers [4]/[5] together to release the set

clamp .

Turn the head of the threaded mandrel [1] in an
anticlockwise direction
from the rivet nut / bolt.
Changing the threaded mandrel [Fig. I]

Loosen the lock nut [7] from the mouthpiece [8].
▸
Screw both parts out of the threaded sleeve [6].
▸
Pull out the mandrel [1].
▸
Insert a new threaded mandrel [1].
▸
Repeat the steps as under operation.
Colour coding system
To simplify the allocation of rivet nuts / bolts, the
threaded mandrels and threaded sleeves are
labelled with a colour coding system.

Maintenance

Clean the tool holder and lightly oil it from time
to time.

Remove the excess oil with a cloth.

Warranty

We provide a warranty for this Würth device from
the date of purchase and in accordance with the
legal/country-specific regulations (proof of purchase
through invoice or delivery note). Any damage will
be remedied by a substitute delivery or by repair.
Damage caused by improper handling is not
covered by the warranty. Claims under warranty
can only be accepted if the device is returned fully
assembled to a Würth agency, your Würth sales rep-
resentative or an authorised Würth customer service
workshop. We reserve the right to make technical
changes. We accept no liability for printing errors.
Disposal
Do not throw the device away with
normal household waste. Dispose of
the device via an approved waste
disposal company or via your local
authority waste disposal facility.
Observe the currently valid regulations. In case of
doubt, contact your waste disposal facility. Dispose
of all packaging in an environmentally sound
manner.
