    Getting Started We know you’re excited to experience your new EXO Active Gear Beanie. And you should be. Luckily, these three easy steps will get you up and running quickly. Step 1: Charge It Remove the control panel from the beanie by easing the unit out of its pocket and toward the opening near the back, bottom of the beanie until you can remove it fully.
  • Page 8 • Activate the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or other Bluetooth enabled device (refer to your device user guide for details). Your smartphone/device will now begin searching for other Bluetooth devices. • When your smartphone/device finishes searching, select “EXO Beanie” from the device list. When connected, the LED Indicator will begin to flash blue once every 5 seconds and a beep will sound.

    Operation Details The below instructions will help you get the most use out of your EXO Active Gear beanie. Power On After establishing an initial connection with a Bluetooth device, press and hold the MULTIFUNCTION button for approximately 3 seconds to turn on your EXO Active Gear Beanie.
  • Page 10 Volume Control Follow the below instructions to adjust the volume while music is playing or a call is in progress. 1. On your beanie: While music is playing or a call is in progress, press and hold the VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN buttons to adjust the volume.
  • Page 11 press the VOLUME DOWN button twice. Go to Next Song (Skip Forward): To skip ahead to the next song, press the VOLUME UP button. 2. On your device: Play, pause, skip and otherwise control your music as you normally would. Phone Operation Answer a Call: To answer a call, press the MULTIFUNCTION button.

    Troubleshooting Your EXO Active Gear beanie is designed to operate easily and reliably. However, problems can arise from time to time. If you need a little help, check out these common issues and solutions. Will Not Turn On • Your EXO Active Gear beanie may not be charged. Please charge for 2.5 hours.
