6. Initial use

Inserting the batteries
Before using the device for the first time, you must first
insert the supplied battery into the device. With one battery
(1.5 V AA battery), the device has a battery life of approx.
45 minutes.
1. Turn the battery
compartment lid (3) slightly
to the left so that the
two arrows are aligned.
You can now remove the
battery compartment lid (3)
from the device.
2. Insert one AA (1.5 V)
battery into the battery
compartment. Make sure
that the battery is inserted
the right way round (+ / –),
as shown in the battery
compartment.
