    Technical equipment room layout. Overall, the desired location of the machine unit plus filter and the spa tub, the relative heights of the two units and the distance between them must be decided. A. The technical equipment room must have a drain of sufficient capacity. B.

    Fig. 1. Starting and operating the spa. Wash the spa with warm water. Close drain valve. Turn on main switch. Water will then be added until the skimmer is ½ to ¾ covered. After filling, start filter pump using the on/off switch on the side of the tub control panel.

    Cleaning and maintenance. Clean the spa tub with ordinary bathroom cleaning materials. However, never use scouring powder, alcohol or methylated spirits. The spa should be completely emptied at least every six months, or earlier if necessary. If pH and chlorine levels are not always in order, the sides and bottom of the tub may become slippery and the water may appear greenish or milky.
