OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Operating the Hot Plate – Pilot Lighting Instructions for MANUALLY CONTROLLED OPEN BURNERS Before operating the Hot Plate, it should be checked to see that it is sitting level. Adjust the feet to level the Hot Plate. Be sure the catch tray has been properly placed. The pilot light on the appliance has been set at the factory.
