• Ensure power ON/OFF switch located under left hand side of the canopy on the fire is switched to on.
• NOTE: The remote control handset uses an Infra-Red beam (not a radio frequency) and therefore must
be directly pointed at the centre of the appliance.
• TURNING FIRE ON/OFF - Press the coloured
to slowly fade down when turned off, please allow a couple of seconds for this to happen.
• NOTE: If you have turned the fire off using the manual switch on the fire the handset will not recognise
this has happened and will think that the fire is still on. You can see this has happened if the fire is off but
the display on the handset is still illuminated. In this instance pressing the on/off button on the handset
will turn the handset off and then pressing the on/off button again will turn fire & handset back on.
• NOTE: Handset Sleep Mode – After about 25 seconds the handset will go into sleep mode to save battery
life. To reactivate handset press any button (except on/off) THEN press your desired control buttons.
• Heater – Heat 2kW (H2) / Heat 1kW (H1) Heat off (H0). The fan will continue to run for approx 10
seconds after turning off to get rid of any residual heat in the fire.
• NOTE: Should the fan heater not come on or switches off after a period of time, check that the target
temperature +/- is set high enough.
• Flame Picture – Front & rear fuel bed & flames / Front fuel bed & flames / No flames / No illumination
• Flame Brightness – High / Medium / Low
• Fuel Bed Brightness – High / Medium / Low
