    5500. Naturally, because it has fewer buttons, some of the functions work differently. One of the key benefits of the MC-6011 is that it can access all sixteen inputs of a Suite 16 system. It can also skip over inputs that are not applicable in a particular zone when installed with both Suite 8x8 and Suite 16 systems.

    This setup can be specific to individual keypads. For ex- ample, an MC-6011 in the bedroom might be set to display Alarm Clock and Sleep Timer, while the one in the dining room does not display these options. This makes it possible for you to tailor the system to your needs.

    SLEEP = OFF. PARTY This mode lets you temporarily makes the MC-6011 take over source selection for a particular Party Group. Rooms are set to track Party Groups in the Suite 8x8 or Suite 16 Setup/Tester PC Program or on the front of the Suite 8x8.

    Operation & Setup Instructions ROOM SCAN The room scan mode on the MC-6011 is more limited than on the MC-4500 and MC-5500 because of the limited number of buttons on the MC-6011. While you can access rooms like on the larger keypads, you DO NOT have the ability to turn them on.

    1867 INSTALLER MODE The MC-6011 can be setup in several ways. It can be loaded from another keypads, from a PC program, or directly, using its display and buttons. If you are doing a global setup, assigning inputs, source control, room and source names that will be identical across all keypads, you can use load all keypads using the PC program or from another keypad.

    INPUT 0 and then IN SOURCE 1. Here, the IN SOURCE # refers to the sixteen possible input labels in order as the MC-6011 can access all sixteen inputs on a Suite 16 (it is not limited to just eight source buttons like the MC-5500 and MC-4500).

    All system room labels are stored in each control and the control head (on a Suite 8x8). MC-5500, MC- 4500, MC-6011 or Suite control heads with version 1.1 or greater firmware may edit 12 character room labels and upload them to other controls. The keypad PC program also has room labeling ability.
