CribClicker is designed to work with almost every garage door and gate opener
on the market. There are however, some openers that may require use of an
external power adapter with your CribClicker receiver BT385 RX. You can obtain
an inexpensive power adapter from RadioShack (P/N 273-025 or 273-313 AC-to-
DC power adapter 6V 300 mA with tip set to negative). The purchase of a power
adapter includes choice of free tip - use White "N" tip. (Note: Power adapter is only
required if wall switch circuit voltage is less than 5 volts DC.)
Metal shielding (such as a headlight bucket) around the transmitter may decrease
effective system range. Position transmitter for acceptable performance.
1. Connect the receiver to a power source: either garage door or power adapter
mentioned in the troubleshooting section. Press and hold button on Receiver
until LED light turns on and then off – release button. The receiver is now in
pairing mode for the next 30 seconds.
2. Connect the Transmitter to a 9-volt battery. Open and close the circuit a few
times until the LED on the receiver flashes first dim, and then bright.
3. Wait 30 seconds for receiver to leave pairing mode. Connect Transmitter to
9-volt battery again and open and close the circuit. Receiver will flash LED once
and a click from the Receiver's internal relay switch will be heard.
Press and hold button on receiver. LED will flash once. Continue holding until LED
lights on a second time.
