STARTING AND USE

Fill the appliance with water to the maximum level («MAX»).

Switch on the appliance as described in the section «Using the

appliance». Let the water boil.
Pour out the water after it boiled.

Repeat this procedure.

Your appliance is now ready to use.

USE OF THE UNIT
Open the lid by using the handle.

Fill the kettle with water to the desired level while observing the

Close the lid and make sure it is firmly closed.

Place the appliance on its base.

Power up the appliance by connecting the power plug.

the boiling point. However, you can also turn it off manually at
any moment. The blue pilot light will turn off.
Suggestion: you can shorten the length of the cord using the
storage compartment provided under the base.

Boil-dry protection device
If the MIN water level is not observed, the boil-dry protection
device, which is the kettle's safety mechanism, will be activated,
turning the kettle off. In this case, disconnect the kettle and wait
for

minutes before using it again.
UPKEEP
When cleaning the appliance, always make sure to disconnect

the power plug. Allow the appliance to cool before washing it.
Do not place the base, the cord or the plug into water. Do not let
any water penetrate into the kettle base.
Clean the kettle and the base using a damp cloth. If the kettle

is particularly dirty, a small amount of detergent may be added.
Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or any type of strong solvents
*
or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as they may
damage its external surfaces.
Remove the anti-scale filter by pressing on it and pulling it toward
*
you, then clean it using a brush. If the scale does not come off,
perform descaling as described in the «Descaling» paragraph.
Be careful never to remove the filter when the appliance contains
hot water. Replace the filter after cleaning it.
