    Quickstart Guide (English) Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Oxygen 25. At M-Audio, we know how serious music is to you. That’s why we design our equipment with only one thing in mind—to make your performance the best it can be.

  • Page 4: Recommended Installation

    Select the Link / MIDI tab on the left. Under the MIDI Ports section, adjust the settings as follows: Under Control Surfaces, for Input and Output select Oxygen 25 DAW (Port 2). Next to Input: Oxygen 25, select On in the Track column (if using the Oxygen 25 as the external clock source, turn on Sync).

    The upper and lower pitch bend limit is determined by settings on your hardware or software synthesizer, not by the Pitch Bend wheel on the Oxygen 25 keyboard itself. Typically, this can be either a half note or an octave up/down.
  • Page 6 VELOCITY: Changes the Velocity Curve for the keys or pads depending on which controls were last pressed. For detailed descriptions of these functions, see the full User Guide at m-audio.com. To access additional features, refer to the software Preset Editor at m-audio.com.

    SHIFT: Hold the SHIFT button while moving or pressing controls or buttons on the keyboard to access their secondary functions. TEMPO: Tap this button to set Oxygen 25’s tempo. Press and hold this button and use the < and > buttons to make incremental changes to the tempo.

    3. POWER ON/OFF: Use this switch to power the device on or off. When this switch is set to the “on” position, Oxygen 25 is powered through the USB connection to your computer. Kensington Lock: This connector is compatible with standard laptop-style Kensington security cables for theft protection.
