Chapter 5: Smart Safe Setup Open the Safe with the provided key. Turn the key clockwise to unlock and lift the lid. Remove the battery cover and install the included batteries. Replace the battery cover when done. INTERIOR VIEW Store the keys in a secure location. DO NOT store the keys in the Safe! If you forget your 4-Digit Access Code, you can open the Safe with the key.

Chapter 6: Programming the Access Code Once opened, locate the “Reset Access Code” button inside of the Safe. Press and hold the “Reset Access Code” button inside of the Safe for 5 seconds to set the Digital Access Code. The “Setup” LED on the Safe then turns blue, blinks rapidly, and beeps twice.
Your Smart Device and Safe MUST be on the same Wi-Fi network during setup. The Night Owl Safe App will guide you through the rest of the setup process. NOTE: You will have 4 minutes to pair the Safe to the app.

Move the Safe out of the way as you drill the marked holes in the mounting surface. Drill the holes in the mounting surface and install the anchors as needed. Place the Safe over the holes and secure it with the included screws.
• KEY NUMBER NOTE: To request a replacement key, you MUST register the Safe in the Night Owl Safe App. 9.1 Locating Model and Serial Number The model and serial number are located on the label on the back of your Safe.
