9. Care and cleaning

a) General information

Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these may damage the housing or stop the product from functioning properly.
• Disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning session.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
• Clean the fan and the protective grille with a dry dust cloth.
• Store the device in a dry, cool location away from moisture and direct sunlight.

b) Cleaning the fan blades

• If the fan blades (5) are very dirty, the front protective grille (6) can be detached from the
rear protective grille (3) to facilitate cleaning.
• Loosen the three screws and nuts (7). Hold the nuts in place with a pair of combination pliers
(or similar tool) and simultaneously loosen the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
• Carefully remove the front protective grille (6). Ensure that the fan blades are not damaged
when removing the protective grille.
• Carefully clean the fan blades with a dust cloth or a fine brush.
• Caution, risk of injury! The fan blades are made of metal. The edges of the fan blades are
very sharp.
• Replace the front protective grille and secure it in place. Tighten the screws only slightly at
first. Once you have screwed in all three screws and nuts, tighten each one manually until
sufficiently secure.
