    UICK MANUAL SER INFORMATION User information This quick manual describes how to configure and operate X2E’s probe devices (X µT-Z7 and X Probe) with the X Suite. Below, the ORAYA ORAYA ORAYA name probe is used uniformly for one of these devices.
  • Page 5 UICK MANUAL OMMISSIONING Interface and network connection:  Connect all data buses to be monitored to the log interface (H).  Connect one of the probe’s LAN host ports (F) to a datalogger, for example a X ORAYA  Connect one of the datalogger’s other LAN host ports to a switch or directly to a PC.

  • Page 8 UICK MANUAL ORAYA UITE  settings: For time synchronisation, set a Domain that is unique for sinks in this network to avoid conflicts. For the Interface setting, there are currently no options available.  Set a Port (3). When choosing a port number, avoid conflicts with network services used by the operating system.

     Set a custom Device ID (except 0).  Select the Protocol: X2E internal.  As Target, set the network address and port of the sink. If a static network connection for the DLN communication is explicitly set in the sink, then enter this address (category DLN).

    UICK MANUAL ORAYA UITE Data recording By default, the probe transfers the recorded log data to the sink, where all data of the current measurement received from all connected devices is collected. The data is then either transferred to the PC or directly saved on the storage medium of the sink.
