The REL2310 Solid State Relay must be installed using line power. The REL2310B Solid State Relay includes a battery, and
connection to a line power is optional.
WARNING
To prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage when handling electronic equipment, always wear an
:
anti-static wrist strap attached to an unpainted, grounded metal object. Ensure the wrist strap has maximum contact
with bare skin.
WARNING
Read and following warning label attached to the Relay. Label can
:
be adhered to a surface close to the Relay for future reference.
WARNING
Before beginning any wiring, disconnect all equipment
:
from hazardous voltages.

Mount Relay

Mount Relay so the metal (magnetic) back makes good contact with a
1
metal surface within an enclosure, such as the rectifier. This will help
dissipate any heat generated and allow it operate up to its highest
rated current.
If the enclosure is non-metal, mount the Relay onto a surface within the
2
enclosure with bolts through the two available mounting holes.
Remove backing from the Warning label and adhere sticker to a surface
3
close to the Relay.

Connect Relay

Use the wiring diagrams as
1
reference when connecting the
Relay to an RMU, the source
that will be interrupted, and/or
power.
Ensure all wiring is secure and
2
free from contact with any
objects.
IMPORTANT:
For the REL2310 - do not install the input Power lines onto a tap that is being used by the Interruption

IMPORTANT:
Refer to the technical specifications on the back of this guide for more information about the solid
