- Page 3 1. Beschreibung DONKEY XL 1. Description DONKEY XL The elctric wheelbarrow DONKEY XL, DONKEY XL-H is a electric powered wheelbarrow for transport demands. All loadings has to be fastening during transport, goods in bulk has to be loaded to the max. volumne and weight of the bucket. While driving upwards, downwards and on side slopes the speed and the loaded weight must be confirm to the conditions to avoid tipping of the electric wheelbarrow in fron or to the side.
- Page 4 - When parking the elctric wheelbarrow on inclinations protect against roll away with a chock. - Driving on side slopes with inclination up to 5°. Risk of tipping. - Driving on side slopes with inclination from 5° or more only forward or reverse. - Always have on hand at the brake to act immediatley in case of stopping.
- Page 5 3. Montage* 3. Mounting* Step 1: Take the handles (1+2) carefully. The handles are bind together to release cables. Step 2 Remove bucket from electric wheelbarrow. Under the bucket are laying the fixing parts of the handle (3). In the bucket you can find the battery charger (5) and some tools (4) to fix parts to be mounted.
- Page 6 Step 6: Connect the crossframe for handle (10+11) at the handle (9) and connect with the 4 screws (12). Now tighten the screws connect handle with crossframe. Step 7: Adjust the cable for the brake (13) with unscrew the grey elevating screw and fix this screw with the black screw.
- Page 8 4. Fahren mit dem Elektroschubkarren 4. Starting the electric wheelbarrow The following description shows the operation with the wheelbarrow. FIRST CHARGING The batterie must be charged at first charging 10-14h to guarantee a full capacity for the future. ATTENTION: We recommend to discharge and recharge the batterie of a new wheelbarrow 3-4 times.
- Page 9 DRIVE When pressing the thumb lever the speed can be continously changed. For driving press the thumb lever slowly and choose the request speed (Bild 3). A differential gear enables a easy pushing of the wheelbarrow to the requested direction. When pressing the changeover switch (Bild 4) the direction can be changed (Forward - Reverse).
- Page 10 5. Laden der Batterie 5. Charging of battery The following description describes the charging of bbatery. Plug the key in the keyhole and turn into a vertical direction (Bild 6). All LED at thumb lever must switch off (Bild 7). Plug the chargerplug firstly in the coupling of the wheelbarrow and then to the power supply (Bild 8).

Through this a pushing in neutral gear mode without motorbrake is posible (Bild 10). STRORAGE The elctric wheelbarrow should be stored in a dry room with a average temperature >10°C.
- Page 12 MOTOR SECURITY - To prevent the motor against overload the wheelbarrow has a thermic protection. This switch off the electric function when wheelbarrow get too much weight or goes on high inclinations. - Ist the wheelbarrow switched on it will be switched off after 20min. not used.
