    4. REMOVING THE WINDSCREEN Remove the four allen bolts that keep the windscreen in place. Remove both side screens by removing the indicated bolts. Pull them forward to release them from the securing slots (red circle).

    Remove the three allen bolts that keep the left side of the headlight support in place. Repeat the procedure on the right side. 6. REMOVING THE SPEEDO Remove the two bolts that secure the speedo on the headlight.

    7. REMOVING THE HEADLIGHT Remove these two bolts that secure the headlight on the bike. Carefully cut the black tape that keeps the speedo cable on the plastic clip. Alternatively, you can try to remove the clip from the headlight, but we don’t recommend doing this as it’s very easy to break it.

    Install the new radiator guard by reversing the removal procedure. Use the supplied bolts instead of the original ones. 9. PREPARE FOR INSTALLATION Place the headlight on a soft surface. Remove the four bolts that secure the headlight cover. You will be using these bolts for mounting the speedo bracket on the navigation backplate.

  • Page 16 Install the 12V socket on the right top fairing bracket. Install the rubber cover on the left top fairing bracket. Remove the three philips screws that secure the speedo on the mount (green cicles). Remove the allen bolt that keeps the air temp sensor in place (red circle).

  • Page 18 Install the speedo bracket on the navigation backplate. Use the four allen bolts that you removed from the headlight cover. Apply a bit of threadlock. Thead lock: Loctite 243 or Permatex Blue Torque value: 10Nm Put the speedo on the bracket.

  • Page 20 Assemble the main part of the navigation tower using the supplied nuts and bolts. We recommend to install all the navigation tower bolts from the left side, just like the original bolts on the bike. This is only for aesthetic reasons.

  • Page 22 Install the four nylock nuts with the washers on top of the triangle. Do not use threadlock. Torque value: 8Nm Install the remaining M5 wellnuts that are not already on the brackets. The easiest way to do this is to push them from the rear side of the bracket towards the front.

    10. NAVIGATION TOWER INSTALLATION Remove the original bolt and nut (green circle). Please note that in case you want to install the speedo on the handlebars (see page 34), you have to release the speedo cable from the metal bracket.     11. TOP FAIRING BRACKETS INSTALLATION The top fairing brackets are mounted on the tower using a black spacer and an anti-vibration dampener. Put the spacer on top (green circle) and the a/v dampener on the bottom (red circle). Do not use thread lock. Repeat the procedure on the other side.

    13. BACKPLATE SUPPORT INSTALLATION Before mounting the backplate support and the windshield brackets, put some EVA foam on the indicated locations on the headlight to protect it from the windshield bolts. Apply EVA at the exact same positions on the other side of the headlight.

  • Page 30 Connect the speedo and the air temp sensor. Secure the backplate in place by using the bolts and washers you removed previously. Adjust the angle of the backplate according to your needs. Hand tight the bolts untill they stop turning. Do not use thread lock.

  • Page 34 Install the supplied bolts, washers and nuts to secure the side panels on the top fairing brackets. For better alignment, proceed to this step after installing the windshield. If you are not installing a second power socket, we recommend covering the connector (red circle) with some waterproof tape.

    19. SPEEDO ON BARS (OPTIONAL) Should you need more space on the navigation tower for your GPS, tablet or roadbook holder, you can choose to install the speedo on the handlebars. Remove the speedo and the speedo bracket from the backplate (see page 18).
