Product Specifications & Features
1. Infrared Frequency Bandwidth: 38KHz (± 2KHz); operates with most remotes.

Product Installation

1. Run a length of cable between this RB33W.1 In-Wall IR Receiver Wall Plate and a Vista
Acoustics IR connecting block; C21, C41 or C61.
2. Remove about 1/4" of insulation from both ends of all wires and twist the exposed strands
together for termination to these products.
3. Loosen the screws terminals on both the RB33W.1 and either a C21, C41 or C6 IR con-
necting block. Next, insert the wires into the terminals of RB33W.1 marked V+, G, IR, ST;
then attach the same corresponding wires to the screw terminals on a C21, C41 or C61.
Finally, tighten all screws to secure the wires as noted below.
" V+" - 12V DC Power
"IR " - IR signal
4. Power: Connect a Vista Acoustics power adaptor, a Regulated 12VDC/ 500mA output or
higher to an appropriate AC outlet on the wall. Next, insert the plug on the power adaptor to
the jack marked "Power DC 12V on the corresponding IR connecting block C21, C41 or
C61.
5. Install the completed Wall-Plate assembly into the J-box. Insert carefully to avoid excessive
strain on the cables and the RW33.1. If necessary, pre-dress the wires for easier mounting
and safety. (The J-box is not included.)
6. Screw the interior mounting plate and the RB33.1 IR Receiver Decora Insert to the J-Box.
Finally snap on the exterior, screwless Decora Cover Plate to the interior mounting plate fini-
shing the installation.
7. It is not recommended to connect without a connecting block or directly to a power adaptor
or battery.
8. The RB33W.1 is PDP/LCD Friendly and CFL Proof; this IR Receiver can be installed within
inches of either a PDP/LCD or in Direct Sunlight and operate effectively! Multiple may be
connected in parallel sequentially.
