tally friendly manner.
All of the Naber Concept Kitchen components can be sorted and recycled
as reusable materials at the end of the service life.
Please carefully read the following instructions on assembling the modules
(Section 1) and our handling and care instructions (Section 2) before
starting assembly and store them for future reference.
And please note:
Keep packing materials and plastic wrappers out of the reach of children.
Dispose of packing materials in accordance with the legal regulations.
1. Important information for assembling the modules
Please follow the assembly instructions precisely. We will assume no liabili-
ty for material defects resulting from improper assembly!
Requirements for the wall, floor and room ceiling condition
• Free-standing modules must be attached to the wall using the enclosed
wall brackets!
• You will require suitable fasteners (not including in the scope of supply)
depending on the wall quality.
• The applicable building codes must always be followed when attaching
Naber Concept Kitchen components to the wall or room ceiling.
Electrical connections and water connections
• Always engage an authorised professional to install the electrical
connections and water connections!
• Please observe all relevant regulations of the power utilities and the
national building codes (DIN VDE 0100-724)!
Loading capacity of the shelves
The loading capacity of the shelves for Module A (1330 x 640 x 30 mm) is 80 kg.
The loading capacity of the shelves for Module B (730 x 640 x 30 mm) is 80 kg.
2. Important handling and care instructions
The following generally applies for the cleaning of coated and textured
surfaces:
• Prevent stagnant puddles of water from forming on the work surfaces.
You should therefore check whether water has accumulated following all
washing and cooking work. Please dry any water immediately to prevent
swelling of the work surfaces due to moisture penetration.
• We recommend using a cotton cloth and clear water for the cleaning
and care of the coated and textured surfaces of the module
components.
• Always use only water-soluble household cleansers for heavy or stub-
born stains. Wipe with absorbent fleece after cleaning so that no clean-
ser residues remain on the surface and to prevent smears from forming.
• Do not apply heavy pressure when cleaning since this can result in gloss
level changes in the textured surfaces.
GB
• Do not damage the module surfaces with sharp or pointed objects!
• Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning the surfaces!
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the usage and dosages of the
cleansers. We cannot assume any guarantee or warranty for the
manufacturer's specifications.
Please also note the following handling and care instructions for special
materials!
Powder-coated surfaces
(body and work surfaces, coloured and white, finely textured):
• Do not use any of the following for cleaning: aggressive or abrasive
cleansers, cleansers containing salmiak, nitro or synthetic resin dilutions
(as well as cleansers based on nitro or containing trichloroethylene),
chlorinated cleansers, polishes, waxes or steam cleaners – they destroy
the surface structure of the (powder) coating.
Laminated plastic surfaces
(HPL; high-pressure laminated press boards or high-pressure laminate;
work surfaces, coloured and white, smooth)
• Since HPL work surfaces are not cut-proof, always use a cutting board.
• Do not damage the HPL work surfaces with sharp or pointed objects!
• Heat resistance of laminated plastic work surfaces: A special bonding
process ensures strong adhesion of the laminated plastic to the support
material. The bond is water resistant based on DIN/EN204 (D1, D2,
D3 and D4) and heat-resistant, for brief periods up to 120° Celsius
(393 Kelvin, 248° F).
• Please clean the laminated plastic (HPL) surfaces regularly. It is
generally not necessary to use care products for this.
• You can generally use a soft cloth or sponge with clear hot water and
possibly a household cleanser without abrasives to remove light, fresh or
common stains. Wipe again after cleaning with clear water to remove all
cleanser residues and prevent the formation of smears.
• Never use abrasive cleansers (such as scouring powder, steel wool or
scrub sponges). They destroy the laminated plastic surface and can lead
to changes in the gloss level!
• No not use cleansers containing strong acids or highly acidic salts (such
as silver polish or oven cleaners)!
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the usage and dosages of the
cleansers. We cannot assume any guarantee or warranty for the
manufacturer's specifications.
Stainless steel surfaces
• Avoid prolonged direct contact of liquids containing cooking salts with
the work surfaces and sinks.
• Ceramic and stoneware pots can cause scratches in the microsections
of the stainless steel surface!
• Always clean the sink and work surfaces after usage.
• Always wipe in the direction of the finish!
• Please remove dirt and lime deposits on a regular basis.
• We recommend using a mild liquid stainless steel cleanser for cleaning
stainless steel work surfaces and sinks. Wipe with clear water after
cleaning and rub dry with a clean cloth.
• You may also use a soft brush to remove heavy stains.
• We recommend using the Naber „Stainless steel care set" (available
from your kitchen professional or on the Internet) for caring for stainless
steel surfaces.
• Never use chlorinated cleansers!
• Please note: do not use any metal products such as steel wool, scrub
sponges or sandpaper. They can contain iron particles, referred to as
„ferrite", which can damage the protective passive layer of the stainless
steel and lead to contact corrosion (rust film).
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the usage and dosages of the
cleansers. We cannot assume any guarantee or warranty for the
manufacturer's specifications.
