HOW TO REMOVE FOR
SERVICE
REAR PANEL REMOVAL
Unscrew the sixteen screws

shown in Fig
.

.
TOP PANEL REMOVAL
Unscrew the seven screws
®
shown in Fig . B after re
-
moving the four screws
at
the
top
of the rear panel
.
FRONT PANEL REMOVAL
Unscrew the seven screws
( § )
shown in Fig
.

.
FRONT CONTROL P

C . BOARD REMOVAL
After removing
the front panel and wire clamp
.

Board can be drawn forward .
MAIN CHASSIS REMOVAL

Unscrew the
two
screws ( A ) shown in Fig
.
C
.
2 . Then
remove the anode wire and other wires ( if neces
-
sary ) from the wire clamp
.

.
Withdraw the chassis backward along the rail
.
* When conducting a check with power supplied , be sure
to
confirm that the CRT earth wire is connected
to
the
CRT socket board and chassis
.

Never remove the tying band used for wire clamping

Should it be removed

reclamp the wire in its
original position
