It is up to the user to properly operate this radio transmitter to insure safe operation. Please adhere to the

Do not use the radio with a damaged antenna. If a damaged antenna comes into contact with the skin, a minor burn may
result.
Please contact your local dealer for a replacement antenna.
Device operation up to maximum duty cycle 50% and compliance with the public environment RF Exposure.
This EUT is compliance with SAR for general/uncontrolled exposure limits in IC RSS-102 at operating duty factors of up to
50% and had been tested in accordance with the measurement methods and procedures specified in IEEE 1528 and IEC
62209. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 2.5 cm must be maintained when
held-to-face, and body-worn operations are restricted to the approved original accessories (belt clip), a minimum distance of
0 cm.

    Never allow children to operate the radio without adult supervision and the knowledge of the following guidelines. Programming software (optional) Thanks to Programming software CPS-T20-FRS, it is possible to increase the performance of your radio or to reduce its functionality by disabling some of the default features (CTCSS, DCS, TOT, VOX...) For further information, please consult the Programming software manual.

  • Page 8 BATTERY RECHAGRE T20 is equipped for using a 3,7V Li-ion rechargeable battery pack which can be recharged by connecting the USB cable to the radio and to a USB-charger (5V-1A). It takes 5 hours to fully recharge the radio. For maximum battery life, we recommend charging the battery pack when the T20 is off and the battery pack is fully discharged.

    With T20 turned on, long press the LAMP key to lock or unlock the channel selection function. After the channel selection function is locked, channel switching will be prohibited, and pressing the Channel Up (+)/ Down(-) keys will cause a prompt tone to prohibit operation.
