    WARNING! Risk of Serious Injury or Damage If defects or flaws are detected, you MUST immediately contact ROWHEELS or your dealer. These can lead to serious injury and damager. Follow the instructions and warnings on all product labels. The attendant of a wheelchair user should be in good physical condition.
  • Page 9 Verify the motion of the wheel locks are smooth, with no binding. Inspect the wheel lock components are not loose, and free from wear. Inspect entire wheelchair for loose fasteners and screws. Check the frame, cross brace, wheel mounts, upholstery mounts and push handles. Verify that the frame and/or cross brace is not bent or otherwise damaged.

    4.1 G ENERAL NFORMATION The total weight capacity or your Revolution 1.0 Wheelchair is 300 lb (136 kg). This includes the weight of the user, accessories and storage items. WARNING! Risk of Serious Injury or Damage NEVER overload the wheelchair past its weight capacity.

    Flip up the footrests. Lift the upholstery at the center of the seat and pull the sides inward. When packaged at ROWHEELS, the Revolution 1.0 has its fold-down push handles in the “stowed” position. It is not recommended to use the wheelchair in this configuration.

    4.5.1 ROWHEEL Propulsion Techniques The wheels in the Revolution 1.0 differ from conventional wheels in that pulling the handrim back toward yourself will engage a set of gears which move the wheels in a forward direction. Document 80-0002, Rev. X6...

    The Revolution 1.0 is equipped with an alternate system for quickly slowing the chair. To activate this feature, simply press the palm of your hand inwards on the handrim, lightly flexing the arm of the hand rim hub.

    DO NOT attempt to stop a moving wheelchair with wheel locks. Wheel locks are not brakes. WARNING! Risk of Serious Injury or Damage DO NOT attempt to climb or decend slopes greater than 9 degrees. DO NOT attempt to climb or decend slopes covered with ice, water or oil.

    Attendant and user facing the threshold The attendant inclines the wheelchair, allowing the front casters to come off the base. Drive forward until the rear wheels touch the edge. Use the handles at the back of the wheelchair to lift the rear wheels up the threshold.

    Drive the wheelchair slowly from of the edge and carefully lower the front casters onto the base.     DO NOT shift your weight, or your sitting position in the same direction you are reaching as this may cause tipping. Position your weight to the opposite side you are reaching to maintain stability. The Revolution 1.0 Wheelchair is not designed for weight lifting exercises or carrying heavy objects on board with the user.

    In case of visible frame damage (cracks, painting defects etc.) contact ROWHEELS for diagnostics and maintenance. Normal dirt on metal and plastic parts can be removed with standard cleaning agents and a sponge or soft rag. Use only cleaning products which are suitable for cleaning and disinfection (no solvents or abrasives).

All procedures shown below MUST ONLY be performed by a qualified technician or by ROWHEELS if a technician is not available. DANGER!     Procedure for Sending the Wheelchair or Parts for Service To repair the wheelchair, one should contact their local dealer or ROWHEELS. The wheelchair or parts ought to be sent in a package protecting it against incidental transportation damages. The best solution is to use the original packaging.

    This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state. Items Covered By Lifetime Guarantee: ROWHEELS warrants the wheelchair frame and cross braces, when purchased new and unused, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the chair.

    7.1 O BTAINING ARRANTY ERVICE For warranty service, please contact the vendor that sold you the ROWHEELS product. In the event you do not receive satisfactory warranty service, please contact ROWHEELS in writing. Provide the vendor’s name and address, the product model number, and the date of purchase. Indicate the nature of the defect and, if the product is serialized, indicate the serial number.

    Wheel Lock position adjustment WARNING! Risk of Serious Injury or Damage After any adjustments, repair or service, and before use, make sure ALL wheel lock hardware is tightened securely. Failure to do this can result in Serious Injury. It is useful to perform these operations on a flat smooth surface. Disengage the wheel locks by pulling the lever backwards (2).

    9.5 S OSITION TRAP Although the seat positioning strap is an optional accessory for ROWHEELS Revolution 1.0, its use is recommended to prevent accidental weight shift leading to instability and tipping.
