Adjust propane valve to adjust heat output. If
too hot, turn down gas valve. If not hot enough,
turn propane valve up or recycle air by placing
both air hoses inside tent. Changes take about 1
minute. DO NOT PLACE X-40 HEATER IN TENT.
For best performance, shield system from wind
and use full propane tanks stored at room
temperature. High altitude, cold or low propane
will result in decreased performance. For best
performance, keep air hoses as straight as
possible. In cold areas, recycle air by placing
free end of both air hoses inside tent. Keep
heater outside in well ventilated area.
Turn off gas valve on propane tank and
disconnect regulator from propane tank
between uses. Remove propane cylinder
from system before and during transport and
storage. Do not store propane indoors.
The fan and air hoses are limited life items
and will require replacement with extended
use. Fans and air hoses are not covered under
warranty. For best performance, always use fully
charged 12 Volt batteries and full propane tanks.
