- Page 5 1. Vóór u begint Hartelijk dank voor uw keuze voor de E-Connect van de SMART-Trailer. De E-Connect is de basis van de SMART-Trailer: het verbindt uw smartphone met uw aanhanger, caravan of camper. Met de SMART-Trailer gaat u veiliger en comfortabeler rijden met een aanhanger, caravan of camper.
- Page 6 E-Connect wordt uw smartphone met uw caravan, camper of aanhanger verbonden. De E-Connect is een noodzakelijk onderdeel van het systeem. Door modules aan de E-Connect toe te voegen, wordt de veiligheid van het rijden met een caravan, aanhanger of camper verhoogd.

Maak hierbij gebruik van het advies gegeven in onderdeel 5: Montage en installatie. Wij zijn niet aansprakelijk voor welke schade dan ook veroorzaakt wordt als resultaat van onjuiste installatie, bediening of modificatie.
- Page 8 LET OP Voer geen modificaties (mechanische of elektronische) uit aan de E-Connect of de bijbehorende modules, dit kan erg gevaarlijk zijn. Daarnaast worden garantieclaims niet geaccepteerd en kan een juiste werking van het apparaat niet langer gegarandeerd worden.

Montage en installatie WAARSCHUWING Laat dit product installeren door een door E-Trailer erkende servicepartner, zie voor een overzicht www.e-trailer.nl. 5.1 Inhoud verpakking Wanneer u de het product voor de eerste keer uitpakt, controleert u dan de verpakking op de volgende onderdelen. Als er een onderdeel ontbreekt, kunt u uw leverancier of erkende servicepartner raadplegen.
- Page 10 1. De E-Connect kan gemonteerd worden in elke wenselijke positie. 2. Voor optimale ontvangst, monteer de E-Connect in het (groen) gearceerde gebied. Dit betekent dat u de E-Connect zo hoog mogelijk en zo ver mogelijk naar voren in het voertuig monteren.
- Page 11 Zorg daarbij voor een vergelijkbare draad met voldoende dia meter. In geval van gebruik van een accu als stroombron voor de E-Connect: c. Het wordt aangeraden om de rode draad (positief) te voorzien van een schakelaar (niet bijgeleverd). Dit om langzaam leeglopen van de accu te voorkomen.
- Page 12 E-Connect zichzelf weer in. 6. Bediening 6.1 Installatie van de smartphoneapplicatie Zorg ervoor bij het instellen van de smartphoneapplicatie dat de E-Connect aangesloten is op een voedingsbron van 12 volt [VDC] en binnen bereik (maximaal 10 meter) van de smartphone is.

1. The E-Connect can be mounted in any orientation. 2. The E-Connect can be installed at various locations in the vehicle, but for optimal reception the (green) hatched area is best, as high and as far forward as possible. -

Should the wiring supplied be too short, it can be extended. Use comparable wiring with sufficient diameter. In the event of a battery being used as the power supply for the E-Connect: c.Add a switch (not supplied) to the red wire (positive) to prevent the battery gradually running down. -

PLEASE NOTE Connect the E-Connect only to a power supply of 12 volts [VDC]. An incorrect voltage can damage the product and seamless operation can no longer be guaranteed. PLEASE NOTE In order to protect your battery, the E-Connect will automatically turn off below 10.8 Volt. -
