  • Page 4 Operating Instructions PAIRING THE RANGE EXTENDER TO A QZ3/SPIDER Follow the instructions below to pair the Range Extender with a QZ3/SPiDER. The Range Extender can be reconfigured to use with another QZ3/SPiDER by repeating this procedure. Note that the Range Extender can only be configured to one device at a time.
  • Page 5 6. At the next screen, you may change your login username and password; however we do not recommend this as CUES will not be able to recover this information for you without a factory reset of the Range Extender. Press NEXT to proceed.
  • Page 6 Operating Instructions PAIRING THE RANGE EXTENDER TO A QZ3/SPIDER - CONTINUED Select Range Extender at the following screen and press Next. 8. Power on your QZ3 or SPiDER within range of the repeater and wait for it to broadcast its net work (approximately 30 sec).

The default “customized” name is recommended. Press NEXT to proceed. 10. Press NEXT to proceed with the default settings on the following page. It is not recommended to alter these settings.

  • Page 9 Operating Instructions 13. Once the Range Extender has rebooted, you can connect to its new network name from step 9 with the same password as the QZ3/SPiDER. At this stage, you can navigate to the QZ3/SPiDER browser page and operate the device through the Range Extender. RESETTING THE RANGE EXTENDER (NOTE: ONLY NECESSARY IF USER LOGIN/PASSWORD IS CHANGED OR LOST) To reset the Range Extender to Factory Default settings, use a paper clip to press and hold the reset button...
  • Page 10 (12) months from the date of shipment of materials by CUES to the purchaser. CUES’ obligation under this warranty is limited, at CUES’ option, to replacing or repairing, free of charge, any defective materials returned, freight prepaid, to the CUES designated service facility.

Under normal circumstances, a warranty determination can be made within 30 days, and if under warranty, the part will be replaced at no charge.
