Parts cleaning tank extra deep 136ltr

Avoid accidental starting of the pump by ensuring the unit is unplugged from the mains power when not in use.
DO NOT use the cleaning tank for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
DO NOT use cleaning tank in wet or damp locations or areas where there is condensation.
DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the cleaning tank.
DO NOT over fill the cleaning tank with solvent.
DO NOT operate the cleaning tank if any parts are missing or damaged as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
DO NOT modify the tank lid or jam it open as this will render the fusible fire link inoperative, which is dangerous and will invalidate the
warranty and your insurance.
DO NOT leave the cleaning tank operating unattended.
DO NOT operate the cleaning tank when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
DO NOT smoke while working with, or near, the tank.
The tank is not suitable for paint thinners, gun wash or air drying.
When not in use switch off the cleaning tank and remove plug from the power supply.
Dispose of waste liquids in accordance with local authority regulations.
Keep the tank clean. Remove and clean the filter regularly for best and safest performance.
WARNINg! DO NOT allow the uncontrolled discharge of fluids which will pollute the environment.
2. APPLICATION & SPECIFICATION
Heavy duty one piece steel tank. Extra deep tank is suitable for soaking and cleaning awkwardly shaped components. Fitted with fully sealed,
magnetic drive pump unit. Lid of tank fitted with fusible link which automatically snaps lid shut in the event of fire. Supplied with removable
shelf and parts basket.

ASSEMbLY
As you unpack the tank, check the contents. If there are any damaged or missing parts contact your supplier immediately.
Open carton and remove lower shelf. Open tank lid and remove the pump housing set (in box), parts basket and legs. Close lid of tank

and close carton flaps.
3.2.
Carefully turn the carton upside down and open the bottom.
3.3.
Assemble the legs to the brackets on the bottom of the tank with pan screws, spring washers and hex nuts (hand tight only).
3.4.
Fit the lower shelf between the four legs and fix with pan screws, spring washers and hex nuts. Level shelf and then tighten the screws.
3.5.
Tighten the leg mounting screws and turn the assembled unit upright. Remove the outer carton.
3.6.
Open the lid and place the electrical pump switch housing through the rectangular hole in the side of the tank. Push down to locate.
3.7.
Place the work shelf onto the two welded supports inside the tank.
3.8.
Screw the 90° connector into the pump housing, then fit the flexible tube to the 90° connector.
3.9.
Place the parts basket on the work shelf. Check the installation to ensure that the unit is ready for use.
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Ensure you read, understand and apply Section 1 safety instructions before using the tank.
4.1.
Check that the pump power switch is in the 'Off' position and that the unit is unplugged from the mains power supply.
4.2.
Check that the drain plug is fitted and tight in the base of the tank.
4.3.
Pour the required amount of Sealey solvent, or a general purpose degreaser (contact your local dealer for supply), into the tank.
DO NOT use any other type of solvent. CAUTION! Ensure you follow any instructions provided with the solvent.
4.4.
Plug into the mains power supply and switch on the pump. Check that solvent flows freely through the flexible spigot.
4.5.
Place parts to be cleaned into the cleaning basket. Direct spray nozzle onto parts. Ensure any splash back stays inside the tank.
Reposition the spray nozzle if necessary. For ground-in marks, leave the parts to soak in the bottom of the tank. Use a cleaning brush
if required.Turn off the pump and leave the parts to drain either in the basket or, if too large, on the shelf.
4.6.
When finished, turn off the pump and unplug from the mains power supply.
4.7.
 WARNINg! DO NOT allow the uncontrolled discharge of fluids which will pollute the environment. Dispose of waste liquids in
accordance with local authority regulations.
4.8.
Keep the cleaning tank clean. Remove and clean the filter regularly for best and safest performance.
When cleaning parts ensure that nothing in the tank, including any parts basket, is in a position that would prevent the lid from
closing fully if and when the fusible link activates.
Environmental Protection.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as
waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which
is compatible with the environment.
