    Instruction of configuring the WLan 1. Press [Settings]>WLAN menu to enter the following configuration screen. There are two items in the screen [WLAN connections/SIP phone/Usage Scenarios], click each to enter respective screen. All contents copyright (c) 2007 ZyXEL Communications Corporation.

    Choose [Menu]>[Renew IP] will cause the phone to renew it IP address. Wireless Security Configuration V660 support various security configurations, including WEP, WPA and 802.1x. When you new a WIFI connection, you need to know how to deal with some encrypted access points. To make sure what kind of security configuration you are using, please consult your network administrator.

    Connect your mobile phone to your PC using the USB cable. Make sure that ActiveSync has synchronized with your computer.     1. Does WLAN work fine w/o SIP configuration entered Yeah, SIP configuration is used to make VOIP call. But without it, WIFI will work fine. As long as the AP and TCP/IP set correctly, V660 could surf on internet. 2. Does the phone support Blue tooth or Infra-Red? Our phone dose not supports Blue tooth.
  • Page 20 So far, we support one SIP setting per profile. So, you can create different profiles to store two or more SIP settings. 6. USB connection from PC to V660 does not work You need to install the MicroSoft AciveSync firstly. Please refer to the ActiveSync help document for questions related.
