INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE Gun Safe with Digital Lock. Before attempting to use this product, please read this manual thoroughly and follow the instructions carefully. INSTALLATION Remove everything from the box and dispose of any packaging materials in an environmentally friendly way. FIXING THE GUN SAFE IN POSITION 1. Your gun safe must be securely fixed to the structure of the building. • Ideally it must be in a room or space that does not have direct access to the outside of the building. -

BEFORE USE OPENING THE SAFE FOR THE FIRST TIME 1. Remove the override key cover from the front panel. 2. Insert the override key, turn it clockwise as far as possible and hold it in position. 3. At the same time, turn the keypad lock anticlockwise as far as possible and hold it in this position. -

PROGRAMMING THE CODE NOTE: You have approximately 5 seconds to carry out each step before the lock resets and you need to start again. 1. With the safe door open and the batteries installed: Press the code reset button (A) on the rear of the door once. - Page 7 USING YOUR SAFE TO OPEN THE SAFE 1. Enter your personal code followed by the letter “A” or “B”. • you will hear a beep and the green light on the front of the safe will light up. 2. Turn the keypad lock anticlockwise as far as possible and hold it in this position.

INSERT THE GUNS 1. Remove all ammunition from the guns and secure the ammunition in the ammunition safe. 2. Place the guns into the gun safe making sure they are resting securely against the foam inserts. THE AMMUNITION SAFE Inside the gun safe is a small ammunition safe. -

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING There are no user serviceable parts in this gun safe. Any repairs must be carried out by Clarke service (see bottom of the page for contact number) CLEANING Wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaners as they may damage the finish of your gun safe. -

REPLACEMENT OVERRIDE KEY A small label is located on the door of each safe with a key number. This number must be registered with Clarke international in the event you may require a replacement key. Please complete the registration form supplied and send it to the address stated with the form. -
