Always position brackets (8) and plates (5) to best support/locate transmission and ensure all screws are re-tightened. Before moving
jack and transmission ensure that restraint chain is in place and tensioned by wing nut (4).

Periodically lubricate the gearbox support pivot points and the adjusting screws.
