Preparation for exterior use:
Step 1
When drilling your own drainage holes, place the planter
upside down on a soft, flat surface.
Step 2
Using a spirit level, mark the placement of 5 holes.
Place the 5 holes at the following position:
1 in the center of the pot base
4 arranged in a square pattern.
Keep holes at least 2,5 cm from the edge of the planter.
Step 3
Press a small indentation into the marked spot with a nail
to prevent the bit from slipping away from the spot on a
smooth surface.
Step 4
Place the drill bit in the indentation, holding the drill so
the bit is perpendicular to the pot base.
Please be aware never to use a hammer drill as this will
damage the planter.
Drill 5 holes at the slowest speed.
