1 Overview
The user interface of the AMB8466-M-RP1 consists of 3 LEDs, one button as well as 2 rotary encoding
switches. The button can be reached through a small opening on the front panel with the help of a
suitable pointed object. The rotary encoding switches are found behind the bottom cover (removable)
close to the terminals for the power supply. They are used for setting the operating parameters.

2 Connection
A power supply with a voltage of 12V – 24V DC is connected to the correspondingly marked terminals as
a source of energy.
The bottom terminal cover must be removed to reach the terminals.
Pay attention to the polarity when connecting the power supply!
The connecting leads from the supply terminals must be removed to ensure that the device is
not under voltage.
After connecting the power supply, a LED self test is performed. In the process, all LEDs illuminate once
in the following order: Power  Data  Error. Afterwards, a device that has already been in operation
changes to normal operation (green Power LED switched on permanently).
