Repair Instructions – Hose/Pump Head

TOOLS NEEDED

New hose/pump head

5/32" security hex key

Penta-nut tool

Utility knife

Flathead screwdriver

Brass check-valve*

6" length of hosing & hose clamps*

Adjustable crescent wrench*

Remove the Air Kit from the Fixit by unscrewing

penta security nuts that attach at the side and on

the base flange using the penta-nut tool.

Pull the pump tube weldment out of the base of

the Air Kit by holding onto the hose. Using the

adjustable wrench, unscrew the brass fitting that

attaches the hose to the weldment.

*If you are servicing an Air Kit 2 purchased before December 2015,

you need the additional tools listed in italics, and follow all steps.

If you are servicing an Air Kit 2 purchased after December 2015,

complete step 1 then skip ahead to step 6.

Next, use the 5/32" security hex key to remove

the 2 bolts on top of the lower housing section.

Also remove the inset bolt near the top of the

plunger rod.

Attach one side of the 6" hosing to the brass

check-valve and secure with a hose clamp.
