- Page 5 GETTING STARTED Remove all packaging materials including those that may be inside the toasting slots or Toasting Lever slot. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and thoroughly buff dry. Make sure that the Crumb Tray is locked into position on the bottom of the toaster and that the Toasting Lever is in the UP position. Unwrap the power cord from the cord storage area, located on the underside of the toaster.
- Page 6 SELF-CENTERING GUIDES When lowering the toasting lever, the self-centering guides will automatically close. They hold the bread centrally in the toasting slots to allow for even browning. CRUMB TRAY Crumbs will accumulate in the Crumb Tray and may catch re if not emptied periodically. When the toaster has cooled down completely, tap the sides of its body lightly to dislodge any crumbs which may be lodged in the Toasting Slots.
