Configuring the Extender Wirelessly
Plug Extender into standard wall outlet
u
having 120V. After installation you can
change the location of the Extender.
On a cell
v
phone, go
to your Wi-Fi
settings and
select ALC
Wireless-N.
You may get
a message
stating
Internet is not
available, this
is normal.
No password
is required.
Open a
w
browser
and enter
ap.setup.
The login
screen will
appear. Enter
the default
password,
"admin" and
click Login.
The Wireless
x
page will appear.
Click Wizard at
the bottom of
the page. At the
Wizard page,
click Repeater.
Select your
y
Wi-Fi network
and enter its
password. Name
your Extender
in the Extender
SSID field. Click
Connect.
Go back to your
phone's Wi-
Fi setting and
select your new
Extender's SSID.
If asked after the
Extender reboots,
enter your main
Wi-Fi password .
Go back to the
U
web browser
and click Back.
Enter admin as
password again
to go back to the
Extender web
page. Select
Setup at the
bottom of the
page. Select
Time Zone and
click Apply. The
Extender is now
ready to use.
