- Cleaning the Paraffin Warmer -
After 40 treatments the unit should be cleaned and the old paraffin replaced.
This is an easy process and insures continued high hygienic standards.
1)
Turn the unit "OFF". Allow the paraffin to solidify overnight.
2)
When the paraffin is solid, turn the unit "ON" for a few minutes until the edges
of the paraffin are melted and loose, around the sides of the unit.
3)
Push down on one end of the paraffin cake and it will tip up. Lift the paraffin out of
the unit and dispose of it.
DO NOT USE SHARP OBJETCS TO REMOVE SOLIDIFIED PARAFFIN SINCE THE

Turn the unit OFF and wipe the unit inside with a disposable towel to remove
residual sediments and paraffin.
5)
With a damp, soapy cloth wipe dry.
DO NOT POUR WATER INTO UNIT OR IMMERSE IN WATER.
6)
Refill unit with paraffin to appropriate level.
1)
Individuals sensitive to temperature should test the paraffin on the inside of the
wrist before applying.
2)
Do not apply paraffin on warts, open cuts or wounds, inflammatory skin
conditions, peripheral vascular disease where circulation is impaired, acute
inflamation, or when sensation of the extremity is reduced or absent. If there is any
question about peripheral vascular disease or decreased sensation of the
extremities, individual should consult a doctor before using.
3)
Treatment should be discontinued if dermatitis due to paraffin sensitivity
occurs. Discontinue use if the paraffin feels too cool or too hot, indicating possible
physical problems.
RESERVOIR WILL BE SCRATCHED OR DAMAGED.
