    Vehicle Disassembly 1. Remove the knee bolster panel below the steering wheel. Start at the bottom of the panel, pull away from the dash to release the retaining clips. 2. Remove the Phillips screw to the left of the steering column. 3.
  • Page 5 Vehicle Disassembly 5. Pull out the radio/climate control assembly. Disconnect all the connectors plugged into the back of the assembly. 6. Using a plastic trim tool, remove the small plastic panel around the lock on the trunk release lever by the driver’s door sill.

Carefully remove this panel by passing it over the hood release latch. Transferring the Factory Panel Components The following components will need to be removed from the factory radio/ climate control assembly and transferred to the HONK838 dash panel:...
  • Page 7 Vehicle Disassembly 1. Remove the four Phillips screws around the climate control panel. From the front of the radio panel, press on the center knobs to push the assembly out the back of the panel. The fan speed and temp control outer knobs will pop off when this is done.

    Vehicle Wire Connections Once the HEIGH10 and Honda Vehicle Plug have been connected, inside the vehicle, locate the vehicle side 17 Pin radio harness. This is the harness that was plugged into the back of the factory radio. Plug the radio harness into the Honda 17 Pin Vehicle Plug (A).

Connecting The Optional Speed Sense Wire (Blue) If adding optional front camera or Stinger Navigation, the speed sense wire will need to be connected. 7. Connect the Blue Speed Sense wire from the HEIGH10 10 Pin Harness to the Blue wire in Pin 13 of the 17 Pin radio plug located behind the radio.

    GPS Antenna / USB Ports Parts Needed:  SSUSB2 Dual USB Extension From the HEIGH10 Box:  GPS Antenna The GPS Antenna is required for proper operation of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. 1. Place the GPS antenna, facing up, on the metal bar above the radio location.

The Display Mounting Clamp is shipped connected to the Plastic Mounting Bracket.

    Vehicle Reassembly 1. Reinstall the two 8mm radio bracket bolts from inside the center pocket. 2. Reinstall the drivers kick panel. 3. Reinstall the drivers door sill panel. 4. Reinstall the Phillips screw into the trunk release cover and reinstall the lock cover panel.
